As requested by The bag of Lay's potato chips that's 100% chips, here's a rendition of Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 with the Super Mario 64 soundfont!
The most famous of Liszt's 19 Hungarian Rhapsodies, No. 2 has remained one of Liszt's most beloved and frequently performed works despite the fiendish difficulty that's naturally expected from Liszt.
It can be divided into two very distinct sections, the "lassan" and the "friska", both being parts of the traditional Hungarian folk dance known as the csárdás.
The lassan is slow, stately, and quite somber; the friska (3:35), on the other hand, could not be more different. It at first remains within the same atmosphere of the lassan, but gradually builds up energy and speed until it reaches its playful main theme (4:27), which many will recognize.
This Hungarian Dance ultimately concludes with a proud return of the lassan's principal theme (7:38), now in the major mode.
