A super easy project for even first time sewists, this watermelon can be turned into a pin to wear out in the world or a keychain to adorn your backpack!
Materials you'll need for this project are:
-My watermelon sewing pattern, find it on my website:
-Wool or Wool Blend felt (better for the environment than plastic/polyester felt, here’s the small business where I like to buy mine: https://www.benziedesign.com)
-Thread or embroidery floss in
-A hand sewing needle, I like #5 embroidery needles
-Sewing thread or embroidery floss (find floss on https://www.benziedesign.com)
-Scissors, both for paper and fabric.
-Pins or safety pins if you don't have sewing pins
-A split ring or locking pin back
-If making a pin, a hot glue gun
