Let's make the most delicious looking donut stuffie! Follow along as Julia from Old Spool Sewing Studio teaches you some simple (and some more complicated) hand sewing stitches and the steps to take to get from a few pieces of felt to a adorable (but not edible!) donut stuffie!
The Materials you'll need for this project are:
-Donut sewing pattern, find it on my blog: https://oldspoolnj.com/2020/04/01/han...
-Wool or Wool Blend Felt (better for the environment than plastic/polyester felt, here's where I like to buy mine: https://www.benziedesign.com/collecti...)
-A hand sewing needle. Size 5 embroidery needles are what I'm using here.
-Thread or embroidery floss (again, find it on https://www.benziedesign.com)
-Scissors
-Pins or safety pins (optional, but really helpful!)
-a writing utensil, such as a sharpie or a pencil
-stuffing (try to avoid Poly-fill, that's plastic! I love the recycled shoddy from Fabscrap https://fabscrap.org/online-store/shoddy)
