Side-lines in Hungary are sometimes very 19-century-ish even today. Horrible track conditions, worn vehicles, outdated technical facilities. Here we can see two such lines: one is line number 126, infamous for having only "0.6 passengers" for every train in average (with a two-man personnel: driver and ticket inspector!). This line was closed in December 2009 for good. The other is line 35, which remained - here the 100 kilometer journey takes 3 hours and 40 minutes. But at least this line does have patronage, even with these low performance figures.
