A major poaching racket was busted on the 27th of July in Pench. Officials seized over 12kg tiger bones and 14 claws with the carcass of 2 tigers, however it is suspected that nearly 5 tigers were killed and they were poached inside the core area. 6 people were arrested, 2 of them were fishermen who were are also involved in illegal fishing in the Totla-doh reservoir despite a Supreme Court ban on fishing in tiger reserve.
