Описание: The first offering of Verdigris, a French manifestation from the same restless mind behind Fleckentarn and Veins Like Vines. Where those sibling projects favoured a more oblique experimentation, this one selects a narrower path, harsh black metal in its most unvarnished and wind-scoured form. Yet below the chaos there is a glimpse of something more, a pulse that leans towards punk.

"Somnambulism in a Verdigris Field" unfolds as an oxidised piece of metal left in the rain, greenly blistered, as guitars rasp with a cutting monotony that becomes hypnotic and where the drumming is primitive but not incompetent, just deliberately so to make a point.

There are, however, fractures in this concept. "Moon Milk" interrupts this fevered hypnosis with a brief descent into noise and power electronics, a three-minute convulsion of static, exposing the nervous system of the listener to a different chaos recipe. When the black metal resumes, it feels harsher and more deranged.
