I don't actually have anywhere to wear this dress to (like all of my historical stuff), but I had fun making it nonetheless! Hopefully my adventure into this decade can help or inspire someone else to try it too.

Some facts:
5 m of blue duchess satin at £8 p/m
4 m of white chiffon at £6 p/m
1m of cotton drill from my stash
Scraps of ivory satin
Each petticoat took me a week to make.
The bodice is based on a Truly Victorian pattern.
I used nearly 8 m of cotton organdy for the petticoats.
