City Life in Vancouver Canada. "East Van". Walking around Kingsway.

We start this walk on Lakewood Drive, very close to Trout Lake in East Vancouver. A right is taken on East 13th Avenue. What a wonderful neighbourhood this is, isn't it? If brooding in the shade is what you love to do, this is where you'll be in heaven.

When we almost reach Templeton Street, we cross the street and backtrack. You'll notice a whole bunch of people waiting in line, as we cross the street. They're waiting to support the Famer's Market. Usually the stuff you can buy here is quite tasty. We head to Victoria Drive and head south.

When we reach the Skytrain line, we turn left on... Victoria Drive.

When we reach Stainbury Avenue on Victoria Drive, we cross the street. We continue on Stainbury until we reach Beatrice Street. When 22nd is reach a right is taken and then a left is taken onto... Beatrice Street. I still remember my friend buying cigarettes for his father at the grocery store around here during my childhood. I think we must have been 9 or 10 years old.

Brewers's Park was under some renovations so we head back to 22nd Avenue. A left is taken here and then another left is taken on Commercial Street.

For some strange, reason I've decided to turn left in an alley. Oh, what kind of things happen is Vancouver's alleys'. Maybe I'll get mugged...

I don't... and when we reach Beatrice, we head to Kingsway. A right is taken here. Milller Street is a must... for some reason that I can't explain or can. When we hit the elementary school, I walk on the school grounds.

I'm trying to figure out why they don't have a pedestrian path but I manage to reach Welwyn Street. As I cross the street, I ponder my existence in this world. Why have I been put here?

The answer didn't come so I continue my journey on Welwyn Street (heading south towards the United States). When Kingsway is reached a right is taken and we head west... where the video ends. I'm craving a dosa...
