No Actual Beach, Just Immaculate Vibes | Ollie Odyssey California

Описание: With the most recent Vol. of Japan over, I took a short break with releases. Hello again!

I don't capture enough of my memories back at home in San Francisco, even when it's one of the most iconic cities in the US. Sometimes, I do bring my camera with me for a random outing. This time, I met up with my friends in the North Beach area, so I grabbed some shots over there! Thus, the California series (something I started over a year ago) continues.

Before I connected with my friends, I just hung around Washington Square Park and its surrounding streets. Interesting fact: I don't think there is actually a beach in the North Beach neighborhood (and from some research, there used to be before it was filled in with land). What does it offer for people then if there's no beach? Well, firstly, it has one very happenin' park, where people play and bask in the sun. It is actually one of the warmer parts of the city because it's inland, so it's the perfect place to hang outside. North Beach also has some amazing restaurants, from Tony's Pizza Napoletana to the legendary foccacia at Liguria. It's basically the Little Italy of the city and borders notable areas such as Chinatown, the Piers, and Downtown.
