event 511 - 18/10/2025
I ran Pendle Parun in 22:48 and finished 9th. I did my best.
It is great to have another attempt at Pendle Hill. It was great I nearly forgot how hard this event was. I think this my 3rd or 4th attempt, let's go back about this time next year again.
I normally run this event around Halloween or October. But lets get it out of the way now and I can moan later. I like how quiet and isolating this run is, sometimes you can just concentrate on yourself a little.
I uncharacteristically got a victory biscuit at the end and had a good chat with a group of runners. They recommend that I get Raycons because of the ease of carrying a camera more subtly.
I disappear fast so I am not being a pain for the local community and taking a parking spot for too long.
I am sleeping a lot better now. The stress has subsided a little.
