Hey guys! Welcome back! Since the last Donkey Kong Country 2 cover I may have come down with some serious Donkey Kong fever... I know I promised a bunch of suggestions (which I'm still working on!) but I just had to do this one in between. And another one I will release soon!

This original theme is one of the mellower themes from DKC2. As usual I tried to stay as close as possible to the feel of the original theme. The result is a kind of laid-back casual headbang-if-you-feel-like-it-sort-of-metal. Not sure if that makes sense but I'm weird, so deal with it. Just kidding, I love you guys.

Anyway, as you may notice in this track, I'm working hard to change my mixes and produce better sound quality, resulting in a slightly different feel overall. I also bought a bunch of new plug-ins (which I'm not currently using yet) so probably my future covers will have a wider range of sounds and styles. As a 'videogame composer' I feel I have to experiment a lot more and get the hell out of my comfort zone to become a better musician overall.
