The TraySpacer is a specially developed tray, which ensures that plants can be spaced wider without damaging them. It also provides an enormous labour saving. The TraySpacer is ideally suited for herbs and lettuce. We have one type for pots, and one type for soil.
The TraySpacer was initially developed to spread basil plants without damaging them. Pots are placed in the specially developed tray, which are then widened after the first growth phase. The tray also has a variant that has been modified so that soil and seed can be placed directly into the tray. After the first growth phase, the tray is pulled out and the product can grow to the final phase, after which the tray is removed from the crop under a cutting machine. Then the soil is pressed out of the tray with a tilting mechanism, after which the tray is cleaned and disinfected by a washer, and it is ready for re-use. The squeezed out soil is steamed and provided with new bacteria, so that this can also be reused.
