When first looking at an International Harvester pickup from this era, no matter what its capacity or powertrain, it’s clear right off that it comes from a company whose primary business is building trucks. They’re tough-looking, utilitarian, with big truck-like windshields and nothing in the cab that doesn’t serve a purpose. Going into 1964, International’s model nomenclature helped explain the pickup’s load capacity, starting with the two-wheel-drive C900 and going up to the C-1300.

This utilitarian truck has been used for its intended use, light duty payloads and work. It has been with the same owner since new in 1965 in Dover, Tennessee. He kept it stored inside all of those years and serviced it regularly. Mr. Johnson has gotten on in his years and has decided to pass on his rare and trusty steed. Mostly rust free, the body panels appear to be original with minor bump’s and bruises. Painted in bright white with black accenting bumpers and running boards, the truck shows very well. Although the paint is in working condition, minor scratches and imperfections are evident. Interesting and unique to this year C900 was the implication of the 152ci inline 4-cyclinder; which was, literally, derived by splitting their 304ci V8 in half; thus creating the 152ci 4-cyclinder. Overall this light-duty truck runs and drives very well and would make the perfect truck to cruise around town, take in parades, go hunting or restore.
