This is how I grandpa brew my favorite green tea, Xin Yang Mao Jian
This Mao Jian comes from Xin Yang city in Henan Province, China, and was a Spring product from 2019
I kept them in the fridge to retain their freshness
Brewing green tea requires less heat in the water, so I would transfer the water first to another bowl to reduce the heat before pouring it in the Gaiwan (the vessel that has the tea in)
As green teas are more sensitive to heat and fresh in character, it is best to drink them straight up after it is brewed
