Winter can be a challenging time for cyclists, let alone e-cyclists. There are myriad issues to consider, including bike maintenance, battery charging and protection, clothing, riding style, pathway maintenance, weather and much more. Come ride along and hear my opinions.
For those of you that want to research beforehand, this video is also for you.
Some notes on winter cycling:
Pay attention to clothing. It is a fine line between comfortable and miserable.
Pay attention to the temperature and weather. This helps determine your level of comfort.
Take some precautions to help preserve your bike's components before and after a ride.
Take care of your battery and know that you likely need a larger charge for the same distance.
Pay attention to your riding style and slow down.
