Описание: Just before 5pm on July 12th Amherst dispatch received a call about a violent domestic. Once cars arrived the situation quickly escalated and a knife was produced and an officer was stabbed and the suspect shot. The suspect and officer were both taken to ECMC. The officer was treated and released. The suspect is still at ECMC in stable condition. His name has not been released. UBPD assisted with traffic control.
