Town of Tonawanda/ Amherst- multiple accidents on Niagara Falls Blvd

Описание: Around 11:40 pm on August 30th. APD stumbled upon a crash on the Niagara Falls Blvd southbound exit ramp. They were in the area already after a patrol car spotted a car that flew past him at over 100mph. This is the same car. First arriving officers reported the car was smoking at that there was 2 occupants still inside and a 3rd that was out of the car. APD was able to pull the 2 people out of the car. One was a pregnant female (19 years old) who was in active labor. Ellicott Creek Fire was dispatched, the arriving fire chief reported that there was 3 vics total. The driver (19 years old) was taken to ECMC. The female was originally going to go Children's , but that was changed to ECMC. The 3rd person a 16 year old rear passenger signed off at the scene and self transported to ECMC. During the investigation there was 2 separate crashes due to rubbernecking. The first one( around 12:40) was a minor rear end accident. The driver of the at fault car was issued a ticket for following too closely. The 3rd accident (around 1am) was a car partially sideswiping a Town of Tonawanda Patrol car. That was in the road. The driver and passenger were evaluated by Twin City and signed off. The officer who was in the car was not hurt. There was a separate incident were a car sat for over 2 minutes on the off ramp behind the rear end crash. Before finally moving.
