Three surgeries later… and I’m finally picking up my crochet hook again.
But that doesn’t mean the last few months have been easy.
Between multiple surgeries, recovery, and building our off-grid cabin while still living in the middle of construction, this season has stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. It’s been messy. Physically. Emotionally. Literally - there is sawdust everywhere.
In this video, I’m sharing what these surgeries were for, what healing has really looked like, and what it feels like to sit down and stitch again after slowing down my body in a big way. I’m also giving you an honest look at our cabin build - the chaos, the progress, and everything we’ve been navigating behind the scenes.
Crochet has always been more than just a craft for me. It’s grounding. It’s healing. It’s where I process life. And coming back to it after this season feels steady and familiar...like coming home.
