In today’s knitting vlog, I’m designing a textured cable animal sweater from start to finish! This Arctic Bunny Jumper features a raised, textured bunny, moose, bear, and owl motif, classic cable details, and a delicate cable flower design along the side. I’m sharing my sweater design process, how I plan textured motifs, and how I incorporate cables into a cohesive knitwear pattern. Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino and Soft Silk Mohair in Dust Banana.
Gauge + needles:
5.5 mm and 4.5 mm circular needles used for a 16 sts x 26 rows = 4 in / 10 cm
