At the start of July, David opened his fantastic O gauge garden railway for live steam running. Jack got the proceeding going with his dad's coal fired GNR Atlantic. I had an excellent run with my recently refurbished Netta - first time under public gaze. Trevor's Royal Scot had a great run- making Rafe walk rapidly to keep up!
Rafe steamed two of his Quartet of new locomotives - a LNER O5 on David's long freight train and GCR Immingham on a rake of LMS coaches. Rafe also drove David's King and Mike's Atlantic.
Graham ran his King Arthur at the head of his southern stock - admire his confidence she would get through the tunnel. And later his West Country -which has had a repaint since last year.
