अधिकतर लोग ऐसा मानते है की embryo transfer होने के बाद एक patient पेट के बल नहीं सो सकता है | ऐसा माना जाता की पेट के बल सोने से पेट पर और uterus पर pressure पड़ेगा और इससे embryo implant नहीं होने के chances है | IVF के procedure के दौरान patient के मन में anxiety होना आम बात है ऐसे में डरना और ऐसी बाते सोचना common है |

लेकिन ऐसे में ये जानना जरुरी है की हर किसी की अलग सोने की आदत होती है | Pregnant महिलाओ को left side करवट लेकर सोने की सलाह देते है क्योंकि उससे uterus के तरफ का blood flow बढ़ता है |

अगर बात की जाये embryo transfer के बाद की sleeping position की, तो उससे related research हो चुकी है |

Research से ये मालूम चला है की sleeping position से embryo के implantation पर और IVF के success rate पर कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता | बस एक चीज़ ध्यान दे की आप बिना किसी tension के बस सो जाये चाहे फिर कैसे भी सोये | ये भी ध्यान रखे की IVF का Sucess rate 35-40% ही होता है और इसपर किसी भी ऐसी चीज़ों का असर नहीं पड़ता |
