Welcome to my channel The Taste Mystery! Today, I’m showing you how to make those perfect Bakery Style Chicken Spring Rolls. These are light, extra crispy, and packed with a delicious savory chicken and vegetable filling. They are perfect for freezing and making ahead for busy days!
📝 Ingredients:
• Protein: 1 cup Shredded Chicken
• The Wrapper: 24 Spring Roll Sheets
• Fresh Vegetables: 1 cup Cabbage (Julienne), 1 cup Bell Peppers, 1/2 cup chopped Carrots, 1/2 cup chopped Onion
• The Heat: 2 tbsp chopped Green Chilli
• Spices: 1 tbsp Salt, 1/2 tbsp Cumin powder, 1/2 tbsp All Spices powder (Garam Masala), 1/2 tbsp Black Pepper powder, 1/2 tbsp Chinese Salt
• Binding: 1 Egg
• Cooking: Oil for deep frying
Quick Steps:
1. The Filling: In a pan, add the shredded chicken and cook until all moisture has evaporated.
2. The Sauté: Add the cabbage, carrots, bell peppers, and all the dry spices. Sauté for 4–6 minutes on medium-high heat.
3. The Finish: Add the chopped onions and green chillies at the end to keep their flavor fresh. Mix well and let the filling cool completely before rolling.
4. The Roll: Place a portion of the filling on a spring roll sheet, fold tightly, and seal the edges with the beaten egg.
5. The Fry: Deep fry on a low flame. This is the secret to getting that uniform golden color and maximum crunch!
