Since I like going fast (and I'm guessing you do too), I want to go at least 10G on my laptop. That of course is a bit fast for a USB NIC, so this means I need Thunderbolt. So, I'm now taking a look at the 10G and 25G Thunderbolt NICs available on the market, hoping to understand their design choices and which chipsets they are using.
