Day 4: 21.44 miles 3,639 ft elev.
Day 5: 10.72 miles 1,145 ft elev.

This morning we slept in a little, alarm set for 5am so we could be on trail by 6. It’s always a gorgeous view coming into Chinook Pass. I was worried about the Naches Peak Loop, as we heard it was pretty covered in snow, but ended up making it through fine with my microspikes, without them I could have done it but it would have taken me twice as long. 🤪 Mosquitoes ended up being horrendous! We planned to camp on the pass above Crag Lake but it was still too early in the day so we kept going for Snow Lake. We saw an elk, a frog and once we got settled into our tent we could hear Elk Bugling right by the lake. As soon as we got to camp we had to get covered in our gear, set up the tent, threw our bags & ourselves in and hunkered down for the night. The mosquitoes just swarmed! We got an early start the next morning because it was departure day! 😊 We had about 10 miles to go to the Cracker Barrel on White Pass to get some pizza! It did not disappoint, everything it was hyped up to be and the staff were SO friendly and helpful! We hung out back where the PCT thru-hikers hang and we had so much fun chatting with them and hearing about their experiences. 🥾 Little did we know we would run into @HikerFunk the next weekend on Section H.
