Описание: Sweet, smooth and silent elevator, this elevator is located within the West Tower from the basement parking leading into the Sandton City shopping complex, starting at the prestigious Nelson Mandela square, and is located to the right of the same hall as the main passenger elevators of the West Tower serving the same floors, which were Schindler Miconic V’s from the late 1980s w/ Schindler M-Series fixtures, modernised by Mitsubishi in 2014 (did not film these as they are very busy, they have a lower speed than this elevator, and are not MRL). This service elevator was however a fresh install which replaces two service/firefighting elevators (1990s Mitsubishi now switched off and unused) located in the same hall as the main parking elevators and this one. The floor numbering varies greatly even for a single floor throughout the complex due to the link between several hotels including the posh Sandton Sun hotel, conference centres and medical suites within the building complex. For example the ground floor of these elevators, is numbered as the fifth floor for the elevators far right on the Sandton City side despite having no link to the fifth floor in this elevator, which is an office level along with levels 2, 3, 4, and 5 (locked off) that you see in this video.
