Dedicated to breast cancer awareness month and reminder to always do self checks and visit your doctor as soon as you notice any changes.
In this 30 min class we will focus on relaxation through breathing and stretching whilst incorporating some basic yoga flow. We've taken it slower in this practice to really focus on bringing the mind and body into the moment whilst trying to clear the mind of thoughts of the past and the future. You will hear me say 'extend through the body' several times (hahaha) apologies for this as it is very repetitive, however that is the feeling to keep moving towards. Reaching the body to the furthest point so you can feel the body stretching and extending which not just stretches the body but strengthens it as well, whilst improving posture.
Options are given to use blocks so that you do not need the flexibility to get into the poses. This is a gentle yoga with a couple of harder balancing poses - remember you can modify as you need to.
At the end there is a link to a relaxation guided meditation which I highly recommend that you do in order to round out your practice and bring your mind and body into the moment.
