Описание: Having the confidence to look outside the box is the message delivered by Konrad Bartelski, a former British School in the Netherlands student. Growing up in the Netherlands, a country with no mountains, he set out to prove he could compete with the Austrians and the Swiss at their own game. Taking part in his first Olympics at the age of 17, he went on to become a silver medallist at the 1981 Alpine Skiing World Cup.



Do you feel like someone who you want to be? Or do you feel like someone who you ought to be? Isn’t it time we all reaped the benefits of looking outside the box?

“Breaking the Mould” is the second TEDxYouth@BSN event organised by The British School in the Netherlands. Speakers explore ideas around ‘If I Could Lead for a Day’, ‘Tackling Tough Truths’ and ‘Invitation for Change’.  



In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, were x=independently organized TED event.
