Melbourne Alamein Line & Riversdale Tram Square

Описание: In this video we take a journey on the Alamein branch line from Camberwell to Alamein on a 3-car X'Trapolis 100. The Alamein Line runs as a shuttle from Camberwell for most of the day and weekend, only running from Flinders Street during peak times. Shuttles like this are the only time you see 3-car trains operating on the Melbourne rail network. Along the route between Riversdale and Willison Stations (the two closest stations on the network), is also one of the few remaining tram squares in Melbourne, where a tram line crosses the train line at-grade and their overhead wires meet, which we take a look at in the video.
