After two days and nights of being buffeted by gales and heavy wait we emerged to a very windy blue sky and decided to head to Barafundle Bay , West Wales . This beach has been voted number one secluded beach in the World by lonely planet and is usually in the top 10 beach lists . It’s a bit of a hike to get to it . There’s a car park about a mile away . Alas no overnight, but not too far away there are quiet spots . We then traveled along the coast . Mostly staying right on the very western edge of Pembrokeshire . Across from Ramsey Island . Very exposed peninsula, but the most gorgeous sunsets imaginable and littered with beaches and coves .
