This tutorial presents 3 exercises that intend to both stretch the hip flexors and strengthen the glutes and hamstrings.
Work your way up to 10 reps on each side, and then increase the number of reps and/or the intensity according to what works for your body.
Always warm up before stretching and listen to your body!
