Paul’s taken a day off before taking on the only three-night run in this Wembley residence. His voice has already taken quite a beating from this demanding schedule so this isn’t particularly riveting news. A nice upgrade of the only circulating audience source of tonight’s gig was supplied by Jason Hobbs, leaving the previously circulating copy useful only to patch in a few seconds at the very end of the show. Just like the previous show, a single song from this performance has been flown in for the live album and this time it's 'My Brave Face's turn. To add a third fakeout option before 'Hey Jude', Paul has decided to debut 'Sally' as a tease tonight, it would sporadically be heard into 1993, but still being done quite rarely.

I am sad to report this is yet another terrible gig for Paul (though there are still worse nights to come unfortunately), who still doesn't seem to comprehend his vocal shape as he bravely (?) attempts multiple notes he can't humanly reach and the results range from questionable to the worst stuff I've ever heard. The band's playing yet another solid show that starts off kinda dull but they wake up nicely as it progresses, with 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' featuring some of the best guitar work and drumming we've heard for the song yet. Hamish also plays a HELL of a solo to 'I Saw Her Standing There' tonight! The band tops tonight's performance off with probably their most INSANE 'The End' yet, with Robbie going absolutely WILD and the band really extending it out with some superb stuff.
