If you want to run advertising campaigns in different markets, you need to tailor your ads to each one.
What works in your home market will probably not work in others, as different countries are unique, with their own cultural quirks and differences.
The biggest change you’ll probably have to make to your ads will be their language.
After all, your English ads aren’t going to bring you good results if you’re targeting a non-English speaking country!
Even between countries that use the same language, like the UK and the US, you may have to adapt your ads to accommodate local differences, for example between British and American English.
You may also need to adapt your messaging so that it resonates with each target audience by being as culturally relevant as possible.
This can include calls to action – blunt, direct CTAs work well in some countries, but in others a softer approach can yield better results.
You should also make sure that any currencies and units of measurement are localised to the country they’re targeting.
