It’s an old shop display unit I found at auction — tall, theatrical, and once featured in The Colour Room, a film about Clarice Cliff. These days, it’s my beauty cupboard: filled with vintage bathroom storage pieces, soaps from my travels, and the little objects that shape how I start the day.

Some pieces have stories. Others just make sense.
Antique photography trays now hold lotions. Vintage sweet jars have become memory jars — packed with scent, texture, and time.

This isn’t a haul or a routine. Just a quiet chat — a beauty cupboard tour with bits about why I keep what I keep, ...the joy of choosing each morning — which perfume, which soap, which ritual — and how it all shapes the rhythm of my day.
