Finishing the Gable End in the Rain | Off Grid Cabin Build

Описание: Today I wrapped up one of the last big jobs on the tiny cabin — finishing the entire gable end. I removed the old trim, pulled the windows, and milled fresh Douglas Fir trim from lumber I had on the property. From rebuilding the window frames to installing the cedar shingles, this side of the cabin is finally completed. It was a rainy, slow, all-day job, but the cabin is really starting to come together.
I also tested my off-grid water sources using the Kactoily 6-in-1 water tester. I checked the creek water, my rainwater storage, and bottled water as a comparison. It was interesting to see the differences and confirm everything is in good shape.
