Goldeneye - Alternative Opening Titles with Timothy Dalton

Описание: The more I thought about doing this, the more excited about it I got so I'm really pleased with how it turned out in the short space of time that I had to create it in.

I've taken quite a lot of creative liberties here and brought in quite a few of the Dalton era cast to make for a more seamless transition. As I changed these cast members it made sense to add actors who almost played the parts of Natalya, Xenia and Bond himself with the latter (Liam Neeson) being more of a match for Dalton's Bond than Sean Bean in my opinion.

I added Robert Brown and Geoffrey Keen to this as I feel like it would've been great to give them a proper final film due to their contribution and matches the idea that Judi Dench's M is relatively new allowing Brown's character to finalise the handover. I would've felt bad to leave out Caroline Bliss even though Samantha Bond does such a great job in Goldeneye.

Some things such as the font colour for the title sequence I couldn't find so I chose a more "gold yellow" colour that I feel stands out but doesn't look too jarring or cheap (hopefully).

I was a bit cheeky and added in one of Dalton's Licence To Kill plane shots into the opening just to make it seem more real even though it's not entirely convincing!

I also ran a Twitter poll on whether people would have preferred John Barry or David Arnold to score Goldeneye with 64% choosing Barry hence why he is listed. As I've used Bjork's 'Play Dead' which was co-written and produced by David Arnold, it would make sense in this universe that Arnold's work on the theme song would help him on getting to score Tomorrow Never Dies.
