If you have a boat, motorcycle, lawn and garden equipment, or a RV and generator, or a car you rarely run, then you may already know about harmful water and ethanol phase separation in E-10 gasoline. Many video creators test fuel additives that claim to help prevent and fix phase separation, but they test fuel additives in stationary jars with impossibly high levels of water in the gasoline, and their conclusions that the additives fail to prevent or fix phase-separated gasoline are incorrect. E-10 gasoline in your vehicle can't absorb the high levels of water used in many of the jar tests, and a vehicle has to be running and using the fuel for fuel additives to work. In a jar, there is nowhere for the water to go.

In this video we discuss how water-dispersing fuel additives work to slowly reduce the level of water and ethanol from the bottom of the fuel tank, and we show how one such water-dispersing fuel additive, Star Tron® Enzyme Fuel Treatment, can safely disperse phase-separated water and ethanol back into the gasoline during operation. We use a shaking device that mimics how fuel is shaken in a vehicle when running, and provide a slow-motion, magnified view of the tiny water and ethanol drops as they are dispersed up into the fuel column where they would be more readily burned off in the engine.
