In today’s video, as Pokémon approaches its 30th anniversary, we take a look at some obscure Pokémon tech from the late 90s and early 2000s. These devices were never designed with three decades of longevity in mind, they were simply consumer electronics built during the height of Pokémania. And yet, many of them still power on, still function, and are surprisingly repairable. Let’s crack them open, bring them back to life, even do some modding, and see why they’ve managed to survive 30 years later.
