Today’s video is a day in the life / around-the-house style vlog centered around something that’s been on my heart lately — being the village.

My sister-in-law recently had a baby, and while the excitement of the newborn stage has settled, the real work is still very much happening. Life is still heavy, especially with a two-month-old, and I wanted to show up for her in a practical way — by making food, lending support, and being present.

I didn’t always have a village myself, but I truly believe that if we become the village for others, it finds its way back to us tenfold. This video is a gentle encouragement to show up — even when it’s quiet, even when no one’s asking.

Along the way, I’m cooking, cleaning up around the house, sharing some life updates, and just inviting you into a very real, normal day.

My Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies 🍪
The cookies everyone asks for — soft, chewy, and perfect every time

Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe:

1½ sticks butter
¾ cup brown sugar
¼ cup white sugar
2 eggs
Vanilla extract
1 package vanilla pudding mix
2¼ cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips
Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes (or until edges are golden).
Finish with flaky salt ✨

Banana Bread

1 stick butter
¾ cup brown sugar
2 eggs
Vanilla extract
4 ripe bananas
⅓ cup Greek yogurt
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
Cinnamon / nuts / chocolate chips (optional!)
