Описание: Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent — the 40 days leading up to Easter. For some, it’s one of the most meaningful services of the year. For others… it’s one they’d just as soon skip. And that’s understandable since the themes are death and sin — not exactly the most cheerful way to spend an evening.

However, the invitation of Ash Wednesday can be quite powerful.

While Ash Wednesday does not sugarcoat the state of our hearts or the state of our world, it also whispers that change is possible. That turning is possible. That God is not finished with us yet.

In that spirit, this year, we’ll be remixing what this day — and this season — ask of us. How can repentance be a tool for change? How can prayer move us to courageous action?

Whether you’ve observed Ash Wednesday for years or you’re simply curious about what it means, this service is for you. It will be reflective, grounded, and accessible — a meaningful way to begin Lent with intention.
