Mauricio : Good Morning, I am a Federal Law Enforcement Officer with DHS/ ICE. I was assaulted and injured on the job by a detainee on 5/8/2023, I was bitten on the left side of chest. Broken skin, bruised, and painful for weeks. I've got a visible scar and I've had some muscle discomfort. I have an ECOMP case number- 550416276. I have photos of the injury since the subject was charged and convicted. Any information or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

William: So doctor at Ellis I have a couple questions the first one is I'm a veteran Marine Corps served 1977 to 81 and got out never applied for or received any disability at the time. Since I have applied for and received tinnitus at 10% and both my knees at 10% each and now stand at only 30%. I have two cases before the board one is for migraines and the other is because I'm crazy for my mental problems whatever also I have one case that is working through the system currently for sleep apnea connected to my tinnitus and my late knees. I have had an aggravating back problem for years and years and years but in 2019 while over in Baghdad working on contract for the state department I had nightmares or sleep fit or something I ended up rolling out of bed and hurting my back that was in December 2019 I came home I have had two back surgery the last one was December 1st of 2022 I have a cage in my back from L5 to L1 including S1 and a wedge through my stomach into my back I am conflicted on if I can still claim my back under the VA or not. I guess the other side of this is while working overseas as a private contractor after getting hurt I came home and I am on workman comp it is based off a long shoreman something I'm not real sure exactly how it works but I'm getting close to where they're going to want to do a settlement and I'm not sure if that's the best thing to do or can I make them continue paying me monthly my workman comp until I die. Just a note my knees are constantly burning my left more so than my right but they less more problems with my right I don't understand I have consistent migraines I could only wish they were only once or twice a month but they're more often once or twice or three times a week I don't sleep much at all at night time and I fear sleeping at night with my wife because I reach out my grab and in the past have grabbed her and I do not ever want to do that again anyway I have more paperwork that I could send you so you could review i'd like to know if you could help me I'm getting tired of waiting for the board it's been almost a year on each of the ones on waiting for the judge but I'm not quitting but I'm also getting tired of waiting do you think you could help me and where could we go from there, also you do the Nexus so that would still be me doing the rest of the paperwork to submit I'm just not real sure on how that part of it works out which I don't mind doing the paperwork I just don't want to be stepping on anyone's toes. Thank you very very much I too love your videos and I've already started recommending you to other people including my brother who's a Jarhead also.
