2017 Chevy Colorado Z71 Duramax Diesel Wash + Drive | WASHWEDNESDAY

Lareasha gives us a full review of her 2017 Chevy Colorado Z71 Diesel in Graphite Metallic Pearl. The 2.8 Liter Duramax Diesel is a newer addition to the Chevy Colorado line-up and lives up to the Duramax reputation. Her previous vehicle was a 2005 Lancer Evolution 8 MR, but her love for motorcycles required something that could tow and go off road. She admitted that she wasn't a "truck girl,' but we think she has pretty good taste in vehicles. When she's not driving her new truck, you can find her on her caged ZX-6R that she considers her pride and joy.

On WASHWEDNESDAY's, trucks need love too. Therefore we wanted to introduce The Rag Company's Cyclone Wash Mitt into the mix. This is our new pride and joy that does amazing with soap and water washes. It produces a dramatic amount of suds and looks damn good doing it. As always, we used our VERY green wheel brushes to clean up the wheels and tires for a brand new look. We followed up with Opti Bond Tire Gel for the meaty tires and Optimum Gloss enhancer for our paint drying aid. The results left us with a glistening metallic paint job. Lareasha was no pro at car washing, so this new-found knowledge was perfect so she could properly take care of her trucks paint and keep it swirl free. If you're curious on how to wash a truck the right way, this would be a good place to start!

After the wash, the "drive" portion of this weeks episode was a bit...different. The truck has modern day technology with a easy-to-use interface for all your media. The diesel had plenty of torque to get off the line, but we don't see it winning any drag races. With future modifications on the Duramax Colorado, more power could easily be obtained. Rolling coal is also a feasible option ;)
