In this session, we provide an overview of the general features and capabilities of DIANA. Given the recent developments regarding local earthquakes in the Dutch province of Groningen, DIANA plays a significant role in the current evaluation and retrofitting of projects in this area. The video focuses on the modeling and analysis setup for a typical Dutch residential masonry house with a foundation on grade, masonry walls, and a roof subjected to pushover analysis.
A nonlinear pushover analysis is conducted until the point of failure is determined, and the results are presented and analyzed.
