A design engineer always looks for the most optimised reinforcement design for a designated structure, which complies with the rules of the building codes. This webinar will show a streamlined workflow on this topic, and in addition explains how steel fibers can contribute to make an optimal reinforcement design.
With the use of the DIANA design tools, we can now simply design a concrete slab based on Eurocode 2. DIANA can estimate the required reinforcement based on an envelope of automatically generated load combinations in a simple and efficient way. Based on the outcome, the user can decide which reinforcement design is the optimised solution for his reference structure.
The final checking (both SLS and ULS) of the structure can either be done by using the design tools based on the Eurocode, or by means of the performance of a nonlinear analysis. Both options will be demonstrated and discussed in this webinar.
