Revealing Our Investment Portfolio:    • What’s Inside Our $110K Investment Portfolio  

Our journey started in 2018, when we spent two years saving as much money as we could. We were saving for a house at the time, but we also started learning some things about investing for beginners, and beginner stock market topics.

Close to the bottom of the stock market crash in March 2020 was when we invested our first $1,000 into Robinhood. We wish we could say that the other $125,000 was all gains, but most of it was principle we put into our portfolio from working , etc.

A little later we created some more accounts at a larger brokerage and began investing a lot more seriously. Fully funding our Roth IRAs for 2020 and 2021, and also buying a lot in our taxable brokerage accounts.

We're invested in both index fund ETFs and individual stocks. VTI, VUG, VGT, VOO, etc. for the index funds and ETFs. And companies like Apple (AAPL), Microsoft (MSFT), Google (GOOG, GOOGL), Nvidia (NVDA) for the individual companies. We're invested in some smaller cap stocks (VYGVF, COIN, and others) but those make up a much smaller portion of our portfolio.
