Beside it runs a single local line —
the Nagaragawa Railway.

From Mino-Ōta to Hokunō,
this film follows the river’s gentle current,
and the small towns that live along its banks.

The low hum of a diesel engine,
the shifting air of each town,
and the light reflected on the water.

At a corner in Gujō Hachiman,
before I could think,
my heart whispered —
“This town smells good.”

The Nagaragawa Railway isn’t just a track of steel.
It’s a quiet current that carries people, crafts, and stories downstream.
