🧠 What are semantic triples (in plain English)?
A semantic triple is simply:
Who the page is about (the entity)
What it offers (the attribute)
Why it matters (the intent or outcome)
Search engines don’t just match keywords anymore — they try to understand relationships and meaning. And when your page doesn’t match the meaning behind the search, you get impressions… and silence.

I walk you through a real example from my own business, Collage and Wood, where a page ranked for the query “volleyball gifts for girls” but received zero clicks.
Using a semantic alignment audit, I uncovered:
A broad discovery query colliding with a high-ticket, high-friction offer
Severe price and specificity shock in the SERPs
Metadata that failed to explain what the product even was
A page flow that asked visitors to work before creating desire
In other words: the page ranked… but it didn’t make sense to the searcher.
