10 Ways to Earn Your Dad's Respect

Why is this important? Because all sons seek to have the respect of the Dad. They want his approval. But younger generations confuse the love vs respect aspect of the Father and Son relationship. Love is given and he does love you. But you have EARN his respect and in most cases when a boy reaches manhood, it's not a given. To get it, you'll to embark upon a sojourn of self discovery, hard work, failures, and in the end successes. But that process will make you happy and give you peace.

Some fathers are dysfunctional and flawed. They've cause emotional and maybe even physical injury to their families. We talk about his and I give you insights to my own addiction and sometimes violence ridden family. Been there, done that. But most Dads are good and they just want the best for their children. You'll find gaining his respect means you have proven yourself to be your own man, responsible, reliable, and hard working. This puts your Dad's mind at ease by you having proven you can make it on your own.
