In this video, I review the current state of gene editing medicine, specifically focusing on the challenge of delivering gene editing tools into the correct tissue in a patient’s body.
This video is the first in a series of 3 videos on the topic. Here, I provide an introduction to gene editing delivery and describe how viral vectors, electroporation or ‘naked cargo’ can be used to deliver this medicine. In subsequent videos, I’ll review the use of LNPs and VLPs.
