Violence Erupts In Sundargarh Market | 12 Injured, Police & Internet Shutdown

Описание: Sundargarh city has witnessed a tense and violent situation after a clash between two groups in the Regent Market area. At least 12 people, including 4 police personnel, were injured. Authorities have deployed Section 144 to control the situation and maintain law and order.

As a precaution, internet services have been suspended until 6 PM, and schools and colleges remain closed across the city and nearby areas. The incident reportedly started due to a rumor, which escalated into violence.

Officials including the West Division DIG, SP, Additional District Collector, and Deputy Collector visited the site to manage the situation and calm the public. Residents are advised to stay indoors and avoid the affected area.
