Bein' Friends (Earthbound/MOTHER) vocal cover

Описание: It's about time I made another Earthbound/MOTHER cover, isn't it? Now that I'm finally playing Earthbound for the first time, I can appreciate what all of you love about it because I love it too! So it's Catherine Warwick impersonation time for me again. The MOTHER arranged album really is the best.

He remixes music (and also composes his own awesome music) using the soundfonts from particular games. I heard some MOTHER covers he made using the Earthbound soundfonts and I really liked them, so I reached out to him to see if he'd be willing to collaborate with me. And yes, he was! Another shout-out to my friend Nicki, who is leaving my hometown to go on wild adventures. She's one of the reasons I'm playing Earthbound. We've been coworkers for the past year or so, which means that our "water cooler conversation" lately often involves where I've gotten to in Earthbound and what I think is going to happen next. I think my other coworkers think I'm really weird, but Nicki has always gotten me and been a fun person to be around. She's also a delightful person and a very good friend, so I want to dedicate this to her. I'm really sad she's moving away, but I'm also happy for her that she's moving on to bigger and better things! (If you come by my Twitch channel when I stream Earthbound, you might meet Nicki in chat sometimes too. She's a good person and everybody should like her.)

That's it for the shout-outs. Yes, I'm wearing a Paula dress. No, I'm not wearing the bow, although I DO have a giant red bow. It's a little too big for me so I'm going to have to get a new one that is slightly smaller. Yes, this is the costume I wore on stage when my band played PAX Prime. Our keyboardist went as Ness and it was great fun. Maybe we'll cover an Earthbound song eventually as a band. In the meantime, don't think you've heard the last of my Earthbound/MOTHER covers! I have a whole bunch more planned. I'm just ... drowning ... in music covers ... and grad school... ;_;

As of this posting, I just got to Dungeon Man, which is shaping up to be one of my favorite locations in the game. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT MUSIC? Oh, Brick Road. Follow your crazy dream with all your heart~~~
